Everything you need to know about Cinco De Mayo

According to a recent poll in the United States, It has come out that the majority of the people don't know the reason behind the celebration of Festival Cinco De Mayo. Cinco De Mayo is celebrated on 5 May for the victory of Mexico over France in the battle of Puebla on May 5, 1862. It was a small Battle which Mexico won over France. Cinco De Mayo is celebrated in the United States more than in Mexico.  People celebrate Mexico-United States Culture on this day so its a Culture Exchange festival for both countries.

Most of the people think that this is the Independence Day for Mexico which is not right. Mexico becomes Independent way before 1862. Independence Day in Mexico is celebrated on May September 16. Traditions embody military parades, recreations of the Battle of city and different joyous events. for several Mexicans, however, could five could be a day like several other: it's not a federal vacation, so offices, banks, and stores stay open.
